S&J UK are looking to recruit a Customer Services Officer to join the Customer Services Team in Sheffield. This is an exciting role offering the successful candidate great levels of variety, challenge and opportunity within the S&J UK business.

Reporting to the Customer Services Manager and based at the Sheffield site, the Customer Services Officer will primarily be responsible for providing an outstanding experience for all customers, giving the best possible service, advice or solution in a professional and timely manner. Working as part of a team the shared aim is to deliver first class customer service whilst understanding and working towards the Company’s business and financial objectives. 

The Customer Services Officer will handle both front-line telephone and written contact with customers, consumers and sales personnel. This role will be responsible for providing advice and assistance when required in the most appropriate format to meet customer needs, demonstrating due care & attention, and maintaining a professional manner at all times. Other duties will include order editing, order entry, updating the required systems, processing follow ups to previous request and other administration duties.

The successful candidate will have experience working within a similar role, gained from within a fast-paced customer service environment. Candidates will have strong organisational skills, an excellent telephone manner, the ability to work to a high level of accuracy and efficiency and be confident taking full accountability for workload. 

To be successful in this role you will be highly motivated, proactive, positive and hardworking, with the ability to work as part of a team or individually and under pressure, at all times dedicated to the provision of excellent customer service. 

Applicants must be computer literate with experience using systems including Microsoft Office with SAP experience advantageous.

S&J UK are looking to recruit a Digital Marketing Exec to join their busy Marketing Team in Sheffield. This is an exciting role offering the successful candidate great levels of variety, challenge and opportunity to drive this area of S&J UK.

Reporting to the Marketing Manager, and having close working relations with the UK Sales Manager / Export Sales Director, this role will be responsible for increasing the digital brand profile of S&J UK and expanding our sales via digital communications across customer websites; as well as maximising opportunities to enhance the digital user experience, editing web content and monitoring traffic and engagement. 

Day-to-day the successful candidate can expect to get involved in delivering all aspects of Digital Marketing through creative writing for the S&J UK website, social media and press releases, supporting e-marketing campaigns, producing newsletters and overseeing other e-commerce initiatives. The post-holder will support the full maintenance of the website, keeping it fresh and dynamic, whilst reviewing and maintaining the content, including managing product data and customer stockists feed and ensuring that compelling written content is produced to support the launch of new products to the market. 

In addition, the successful candidate can expect to provide regular graphic design support across a range of design for print and should be willing to undergo graphic design training as required.

The Digital Marketing Exec will work with other areas of the business on project related activities; respond promptly to inquiries from the digital audience; provide back-up design support to the Marketing Designer; and will maintain a thorough awareness of developments and trends in digital marketing and communications both nationally and internationally, making recommendations as appropriate. 

To be considered for this role, applicants will have demonstrable experience in writing content for Web and Social Media; alongside experience in graphic design from ideas generation and the management of online scheduling tools and web content management systems. A good level of academic achievement to degree level or equivalent is required, ideally in a marketing / design related discipline.

Sound knowledge of technical design and print processes, excellent written communication skills and competent time management is essential. The successful candidate must be in possession of excellent IT competence, with experience using Microsoft Office Suite, InDesign Software (CS5), Illustrator (CS5), Apple Mac, Photoshop (CS5) and Adobe Creative Suite Applications

Combined with the above experience and skill set, we are looking for candidates who are self-motivated and enthusiastic, innovative and with a natural flair for design and creativity, and who are able to demonstrate high attention to detail with excellent level of accuracy.  Candidates must have first-class communication skills (verbal and written) with proven interpersonal and relationship management skills; able to plan and organise workload effectively with the ability to work to tight deadlines and often changing work demands.

In addition, to be considered for this role applicants must be in possession of a full driving licence and comfortable with travel and some overnight stays to support trade shows / events etc.

S&J UK are looking to recruit an Export Regional Sales Manager to join the Export Sales Team in Sheffield. This is an exciting role offering the successful candidate great levels of variety, challenge and opportunity within the S&J UK business.

Reporting to the Export Sales Director and based at our Sheffield Site, the Export Regional Sales Manager will have responsibility for selling a broad-range of premium quality and industry leading hand and garden tools from the S&J and Eclipse portfolio. The principal job purpose will be to ensure the effective management of the assigned sales territory and achievement of respective budgets. Working with existing agents / distributors and identifying and delivering potential business in new and existing markets within Africa and the Middle East. 

The Export Regional Sales Manager will be office based with 25% of their time spent travelling to the sales territories / key markets to ensure the delivery of the export sales strategy by exceeding sales and margin budgets. This role will be responsible for analysing business potential and promotional opportunities; undertaking regular forecasting, market assessment and reporting on competitor activity; contributing to new product development and attending / hosting trade shows.

The successful candidate will be ambitious, self-motivated, self-confident and ideally from a Tools, DIY background with good FMCG exposure. Experience with managing a sales budget, KPI’s and export planning is essential.

We are looking for candidates who are highly credible with first-rate communication and interpersonal skills; customer focused with the ability to establish, manage and maintain first class working relationships and the ability to negotiate and influence, prospect, grow and close accounts.

In addition, to be considered for this role applicants must be in possession of a full driving licence, a flexible and dedicated approach to work, and will be comfortable with international travel / periods working away from home.
